News and Updates
July and August updates:
August 25, 2010 - Good morning to all,
Time for an update. I'll try to post something each week, unless developments warrant doing it more often.
I'll open with a personal note to everyone. Because my brother and I have been part of every phase of Wilt's since April of 2008, we have the advantage of true patience. We have experienced a few ups and (many more) downs...this is just another chapter, a much more optimistic one, in our endeavors to get this motor DONE!
I say this because there is a justifiable and almost unconcious "edge" to everyone directly involved in ALL WCE operations. Just when you think that you have the plan down, something as simple as opening a new bank account for instance, can require a myriad of senseless steps that take up time, and can create aggravation. This is just one of many seemingly "little" tasks that end up being nothing of the sort!
Everyone is working with a heightened sense of urgency, but we still must be careful and take the needed steps at the right time. And everyone needs to relax enough so as to not INCREASE the pressure already there.
To Buddy, Jake, Sean, Nancy, the Killens, and Cheryl...keep up the focus and good work. Everyone appreciates the effort. It will get done, and we have complete faith in all of you. Of course, I can say this sitting down in Florida trying to "help" as much as possible, mainly by just listening to them, and sharing (hopefully) good ideas that help them up there.
OK, on to the motor...S, B, & J, are having to determine (through investigation), what actual condition P4 is in overall. For instance, the main shaft is off by 1/8 of an inch (and is literally bent). This immediately creates a strain on all other moving parts of the motor. Perhaps we can get the motor to run, but for how long? And at what efficiency? Much of the structural design was done without thought to durability... even enough durability to insure a good test.
It's a puzzle that can create a temporary paralysis, as they determine WHAT exactly needs to be done. Rest assured that progress is being made at a phenomenal clip, but this isn't going to be without some trials and tribulations. The motor truly was not even close to being ready for actual work. I'm anxious myself to go up and see all of these developments.
But I hold no unsubstantiated time expectations, and no one else should either. Hopefully these updates help. If not, let me know and I'll try to do better.
On behalf of everyone working directly on the WCE team...thanks for your continued support and patience.
Respectfully submitted by Tim Cavanaugh, C.I.O.
August 11, 2010 - Good evening to all!
I am very pleased to report that good things are happening in Augusta. The new neodymium magnets arrived, and (according to Jake and Sean) are truly awesome! The amount of energy these magnets have, is much, much greater than the magnets that were on the motor originally. In fact, anyone that has a pacemaker or such in their body, has to stay over 20 feet away!
We expect these magnets to significantly improve the torque (the actual power output) of the motor. There are areas of the construction/design of the motor that may need to be modified due to this new configuration of the magnets. At this point, Sean, Buddy, and Jake (S, B & J) are brainstorming all of this...with good results.
The motor is now at a stage that it has never been at before. We are taking the "theory" and actually putting it to actual use. Not an easy feat. S, B & J, are doing a great job of figuring this all out. Please wish these men continued good luck!
The re-structuring of the company continues. The best way I can describe this process is to compare it to starting a 5000 piece puzzle. As you start, it takes a while before a few pieces are in place. As more and more pieces are added, the overall puzzle becomes easier and you complete it faster. Everything is being done properly, and thoroughly with the continued assistance of the Wiggins lawyer.
While there is still much work to do, the overall feeling of what we have accomplished (in less than a month), is truly uplifting for all of us. I hope that I am conveying this optimism to all of you that have been so patient and supportive over the last few years. I'll update everyone again as things continue to develop.

July, 2010 Good afternoon to all,
After a very long, 4 and 1/2 hour meeting, we have a complete re-structure of Wilts Clean Energy, Inc. For those not at the meeting, I present this overview:
We had about 100 to 125 in total attendance. Herman and Kathrine were there, as well as Herman's son Greg. I had never met Greg before, and didn't get a chance to speak with him, but I look forward to it.
Herman did step down as President and CEO. It was a very necessary decision...for his own health and the future of this company. Buddy Vaughn was agreed upon and voted in as our new President and CEO. This was a suggestion made by the Wilts, and we applauded it. Mr. Keith Johnson is now our V.P. He also was nominated by the Wilts and accepted the position. Many of you don't know Keith...more on him shortly.
Jackie McKenzie served as moderator and did a VERY good job at controlling the overall meeting. I want to thank him for making sure that EVERYTHING was done properly and in agreement with our current by-laws and the Roberts Rules of order. Well done Jackie.
Herman accepted (and we ALL approved) a new position as technical advisor on the motor. Any of his future contributions will be on the technical side only.
We expanded the number of board members to 7 in total. They are: Jake Wiggins, Kerry Killen, Jeff Killen, Alan Killen, Kathrine Wilt, Greg Wilt, and Don Paradice. Amongst this group, a chairman will be named.
The day to day operations will be taken over by Buddy Vaughn and he will appoint people to assist. Cheryl Willett will continue as the office manager. Her knowledge of how to run the office is extensive, and she'll be a huge help during the transition period and beyond.
The P4 motor is now in Augusta. Buddy, Jake, and Sean Turner, will continue the hard work already completed by Herman, and will get this motor ready for a real world test ASAP.
I will continue in my role as C.I.O. (non-employee). Me and my brother will continue to be the sales and marketing agents (under contract) for the company. We will have a long list of things to do before we can "right the ship" so to speak.
Keith Johnson, I believe, will be a good asset for the company. Like many of us, Keith has his own business and will contribute when possible. He stated that he very much wants to work closely with Buddy and all of us to get this company to the next stage of development. Although not previously involved with any company duties, let's welcome Keith, and help him in this transition period.
We have a new board member in Alan Killen. Alan brings a tremendous amount of much needed knowledge and expertise to our company immediately. I look forward to working with Alan very much.
Everyone will have a ton of questions, and will be contacting me primarily for those answers. Please give us the time we need to do this. I could probably list 100 things we need to do between running a motor test, and actually negotiating for any sale of the motor. That is the cold, hard truth.
I will only update the website with things that have been done, or goals that have been reached. We will not speculate on any timeframe for completion of the motor test, or any other "future" plans. All we promise is dedication and hard work to get all of this done ASAP.
While we have all agreed to move forward with this project, there will still need to be past issues addressed. There will have to be a very timely and orderly completion to many tasks, both on the past and on the future actions of the company.
In closing, this is a new day and a new start to Wilts Clean Energy, Inc. Regardless of what occurred at the meeting and in the past, I still want to recognise the Wilts and Wiggins for their past and current contributions. To Nancy and Jake, thank you for helping push this agenda forward. My personal admiration for both is off the charts. Jake is simply an outstanding young man, and is truly one of the companies greatest assets.
Let us not forget James Wiggins who rests in heaven. Thank you sir, for your contributions continue to be felt in ways never imagined. If he is looking down upon us, I believe he approves and is pleased...
Once again...respectfully submitted by Tim Cavanaugh, C.I.O.
